Week 4/Article: Bachmann loses Iowa campaign chairman to Paul

Date: December 28, 2011
Author: Brian Bakst
Summary:
Bachmann's political director, Wes Enos, resigned a day after her Iowa campaign chairman, Kent Sorenson, left to support Texas congressman Ron Paul's bid for the Republican nomination to challenge Democratic President Barack Obama in elections in November next year. However, Sorenson denies that any money was offered by the Paul camp or that he accepted money to endorse the Texas congressman.
Benton, Paul's campaign chairman stated, "We've always known Michele to be an honorable person. She should stop slandering an honorable Iowa state senator,"Bachman now criticizes Pal and even said, ""Ron Paul would be a dangerous president,",  "He would have us ignore all of the warning signs of another brutal dictator who wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. I won't. He would wait until one of our cities is wiped off of the map until he reacted. I won't wait.", "He won't win the nomination,".
